The Golden Temple is located in Bylakuppe, near Kushalnagara, in the Kodagu district of Karnataka, India. It lies within the Tibetan settlement, about 35 km from Madikeri and 90 km from Mysuru. This serene monastery is a prominent spiritual and cultural landmark.  


The Golden Temple in Kushalnagara, also known as Namdroling Monastery, is a prominent Tibetan Buddhist monastery located in Karnataka, India. Established in 1963, it is one of the largest teaching centers of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. The monastery is renowned for its stunning golden statues of Buddha, intricate Tibetan-style architecture, and vibrant murals depicting Buddhist teachings. Surrounded by lush greenery, it offers a serene and spiritual atmosphere, attracting visitors from all over the world.
